Community Action Southwest serves as a catlyst to mobolize the resources of the entire community to enable families and individuals in southwestern Pennsylvania to attain the skills, knowledge, motivation, and opportunities to become self-sufficient. Service provided include: Even Start, GED classes, Community Learning Centers, Kindergarten Club Counting Kids Together Pre-K Program, Housing and Utility Programs, Housing Support Services, Homeownership Counseling, Emergency Food and Shelter Program, Homeowner’s Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program, Home Equity Conversion Mortgage Counseling, Consumer Family Satisfaction Team, Supported Work/Supported Employment, CAPWorks Case Management Program, Project SAVE Family Savings Account, Credit Counseling, Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), Adult Education, Head Start, Parent Child Home Program, Early Head Start, Family Savings Account, and Women Infants and Children (WIC).
